Although not an EMT myself, I found the extra pockets a good idea for my job as a porter for a car dealer, as I had a number of additional duties. The Teflon coating makes these pants easy to care for. They as good as the uniform pants the company provides and feel So Much better. Yes I'm paying for them myself, and the price is much more reasonable than EMT uniform pants some of my EMT friends wear and have to buy. My first 2 pair are still good, although I lost weight and had to alter them some, so I have bought an additional 2 pair of a size that will now fit better. Cost, Comfort. Construction. Quality. All top notch.
