Bought this jacket back in 1999 and just now (2010) am replacing the jacket only because my 2 year-old has stained my first (HEAVILY). Still plenty of life in this jacket and would recommend this product to anyone who has to face possibly harsh winters (Minnesota, Germany, etc.)
