This is a heavy duty boot. It however is not shaped as well as boots in the past. Chinese made is the reason. It is VERY hard on my feet and will take a long time to break in. There is not a proper arch. The Chinese seem to not be able to make correct foot-ware in the larger sizes I have noticed over the years. This boot is no different. Try the boot on at a locale store before buying on line.

I have been wearing my boots that I ordered almost daily as I want to get them broke in. I had a hard time finding this type of boot with the shoe lace clips at the top which makes them a snap up to lace up. I'm well satisfied with my purchase and the price. Thank You C. R. Allen
