I just purchaced this tool bag and I am thrilled about it. For the price, I expected something cheaply made, but to my surprise I found it to be of very superior quality and craft. It is brand new and made of a thick canvas material, very well constructed, and has a high quality vinyl zipper accross the top. On either side of the full length zipper is a convienent looped tab you could use to put a carabiner on it and hang it, or put a small pad lock on the closed end to keep the bag locked.
The bottom of the bag is double layered and has a firm piece of solid material sewn between the two layers to give it a sturdy rectangular shape almost 11" x 6" and a durable floor. On the exterior of the bag, on each side, it has a nice flap which snaps shut and conceals 3 pockets, a larger one in the middle, and two smaller ones on each side.
Inside the bag, on each of the long sides, is an array of 4 finger sized pockets, each about 2 inches deep. These are perfect to put small items in that will make it very easy to find in the bag without even having to look in it. There is a strap on each side of the outside of the bag that form a comfortable carrying handle.
Something else nice about the bag is that the material is thick enough and so well constructed that it will stand upright in a filled position standing about 7 inches tall, even if the bag is completely empty, just like the picture shows. Other bags I own won't do this, they will simply flop to the ground when empty. You can, however, compact it to near nothingness when empty, which is how it comes packaged.
This tool bag is exactly what I was hoping it would be like and it is the perfect size for what I want it for. You can't beat the price for what you get, and if it's not exactly what you want, give it to a friend ... I can guarantee you that they would love to have it.
